Service Description

1. Prepare the Area Remove debris: Sweep away loose dirt, leaves, and stones. Move obstacles: Remove furniture, potted plants, and decorations. Protect nearby surfaces: Cover nearby windows, doors, and plants with plastic sheeting or tarp to prevent damage or contamination. Check the drainage: Make sure water runoff won’t cause pooling or damage nearby areas. 2. Choose the Right Equipment Pressure washer type: Use a gas-powered pressure washer (2500–3500 PSI) for concrete and stone, or electric for lighter jobs. Nozzle tip: Use a 25° or 15° nozzle for walkways (wide enough for cleaning, narrow enough for power). Surface cleaner attachment (optional): Great for large, flat areas—keeps pressure consistent and minimizes streaks. 3. Pre-Treat the Surface Apply detergent: Use a concrete-safe cleaner or degreaser. Apply it with a low-pressure soap nozzle or a pump sprayer. Let it sit: Allow the solution to soak in for 5–10 minutes to break down grime—but don’t let it dry. 4. Power Wash the Surface Start from one end: Begin at the highest point (if sloped), working your way down to guide dirty water away. Maintain consistent distance: Keep the nozzle 6–12 inches from the surface for even cleaning. Use a sweeping motion: Move in overlapping passes to avoid streaks or missed spots. Stubborn stains: For oil or gum, use a turbo nozzle or repeat with a narrow-angle tip. 5. Rinse Thoroughly Switch to rinse mode: Use a wider nozzle (25° or 40°) to rinse off soap and debris. Inspect for missed spots: Touch up any areas with additional passes as needed. 6. Post-Cleaning Touches Clean the equipment: Rinse the pressure washer, hoses, and nozzles. Seal the surface (optional): Once dry, apply a concrete sealant to protect the surface and enhance appearance. Final inspection: Make sure water has drained properly and the area looks uniform and clean.
